Stravinsky & Rachmaninoff - January 15 & 16, 2010

This concert features three incredible Russian composers, Khachaturian, Stravinsky and Rachmaninoff.  Our guest artist is one of David Lockington’s favorite young pianists, Terrence Wilson. Wilson will use his virtuosity to communicate the passion in Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3!

Beethoven & Brahms - April 9 & 10, 2010

Because you really can never have too much of a good thing, we bring you two of the most beloved composers of all time, the immortal Beethoven and Brahms in one concert!  Added attraction is guest violinist Dylana Jensen, David Lockington’s wife and one of the great violinists of her generation.

Verdi Requiem - May 14 & 15, 2010

Our final concert of the season features four soloists, the MSO Chorus, and the Modesto Symphony in this magnificent and powerful requiem composed by Verdi.
